The Temple of Ezekiel has been, for many, a problematic passage in Scripture. How could this Temple really exist? Did God intend this to be a Temple only in words on a page and never really exist?

Lets look at some facts relating to these questions.

First, there has never been a structure mentioned in the Scripture, with dimensions given, which has not been literally built. Review the list: Noah’s Ark, The Tabernacle, Solomon’s Temple. All of these structures mentioned within the Bible have dimensions listed, and all were built.

Consider the facts of Ezekiel. There are 150 measurements mentioned in 9 chapters. There are another 168 measurements implied (by this I mean places where Ezekiel mentions that one building is the same measure as another building – implying the same measurements can be repeated). This is a total of 318 mentions of measurements in 9 chapters in the Bible. There is no other place in the Bible where there is this concentration of measurements. Even the Tabernacle does not have this many mentions of measurements – and it was literally built.

What do you think?
